Bitter End Yacht Club
This was our first trip to the Caribbean and I must say that BEYC exceeded my expectations as far as the facilities are concerned. My wife was in love with the rooms. We stayed in a beachfront villa room. I definitely recommend the villas over the north sound suites, which are a LONG walk from the main resort. The staff was friendly and we always felt safe at any time of day, I'm sure being only accessible by boat helps in this regard. The food was not gourmet, but still very good and the eating location is located right at the waters edge. The beaches are not large but extremely well manicured, and of course the water is fabulous. Snorkeling was fair to middling but we took a sailing lesson and had a blast with their Hobie cats. The wind blows here a LOT, duh, it's a sailing paradise. So be prepared for that. Also, if you can't climb a lot of stairs, be sure to ask for a lower level room. Sure the view of the higher rooms is better, but you will climb 50 or more steps to get there. We're young so we didn't mind, but Grandpa would not have made it to my room. Overall, a great place to relax....More

Long Bay Beach Resort & Villas
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Long Bay Beach Resort. We loved the view from our room on the hillside, the beach was gorgeous, the food was excellent and the service great. We loved the convenience of being able to rent a car from the property on the days we wanted to explore the island. While we noticed some hotel guest reviews complaining about the walk to hillside view rooms, we thoroughly enjoyed the exercise. If you're not into walking, get the beach front rooms. We saw those too, and they are awesome!! Steps from the beach. Didn't care as much for their buffets for the price...but the individual meals and entrees were exceptional. Service was generally top-notch, although a few of the staff are VERY laid back...which is to be expected in the Caribbean...it's all about slowing down. The pool area is fantastic, including a swim up bar and slide. Overall, we loved our stay here and would definitely come back with more friends and family....More

SEBASTIANS ON THE BEACH
Sebatian's was a great place to stay for us, as we like laid back, casual, small hotels. The staff was not very friendly, and our room was quite small. A rooster woke us up most nights (2-5am), however the rooms in the front on the beach were much more spacious and did not seem to have the rooster problem. Although our room was small and across the street from the beach, it was only a few steps to the beach, and as we did not spend much time in our room, it was not a problem. The beach was fabulous, with some surf and right next door was a surf beach w/ several surfers most days - fun to watch! The restaurant was very nice, w/ tables right on the beach - service was just o.k., food was good. They have wireless access outside the restaurant on the patio. No laundry facilities, but there is a laundromat not too far away. Overall, great hotel for the money!...More
