    Tamarind Beach Hotel & Yacht Club
    We were there for a week in March 2009. The weather was great. Beautiful location on a nice beach. The staff and management were outstanding and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The standard rooms were a bit smaller than we expected from the pictures on the web site so we upgraded to a suite, which was wonderful. There are no other restaurants in the area so you will be eating all your meals there. Food was generally good but more variety would have been nice. The Italian items such as pasta and pizza were outstanding. Prices were reasonable for a Caribbean island. The wireless Internet worked well so I was able to keep in contact and work a bit on my laptop computer. There are several beaches on the island for good snorkeling and we took a boat trip to the Tobago Cays, which was pretty close by. All in all a very nice place for a quiet vacation....More
