    Grand Vista Hotel
    Me and my girlfriend went to Magic Mountain for the weekend, and needed a place to spend the night. I figured I was getting a good price for a hotel not that far away (20 min drive), and I got pretty much what I was expecting. Room was dated a few years, but clean - non-smoking room smelled like smoke, but which non-smoking room doesn't a little? Hotel staff was very nice, esp when we checked in pretty late (10pm). There was a 'bar' attached to the hotel, and there was a wedding reception or something going on in there, but when we got to the elevators (down the hall around the corner from the front desk, which was down the hall around the corner from the bar) I couldn't even hear the music. Room service breakfast was accommodating - I asked for the delivery person to leave the food outside, and they called to confirm, and make sure that I would sign the check. Nice touch, as I've been to 5-star places that don't do that. All-in-all, a decent place to spend the night, and if/when we go back, if I can't find someplace closer with as a good as a price, I'ld go back again....More
