Comfort Suites Turks & Caicos Islands
This hotel was a great bang for the buck. On an island that is known for being very expensive it provided a good low cost alternative. The pool was good, nothing fancy but it had plenty of nice chairs around it. The beach was about a five minute walk and also had plenty of chairs and a few places where you could sit in the shade. The beach was magnificent. The portion of the beach where we were was wide and mainly free of rocks and seaweed. Comparing to other sections of the beach in front of higher priced hotels, this section was very nice. Right near the hotel is a small shopping center which had several nice casual restaurants, a few souvenir shops, and a small convenience store. The atmosphere in the bars/restaurants was great. Also the vending machine at the hotel had the cheapest bottled water and can of soda we found anywhere on the island! The breakfast was fine. Pastries, lots of cereal with milk, toast, juice and coffee. Great hotel overall!...More

Comfort Suites Turks & Caicos Islands
This hotel was perfect for us. We wanted a place that was close to the beach and yet reasonably priced since we knew we would spend very little time in our room. The beach was about a 2 minute walk away and there's a mini-convenience store just outside the hotel (along with shops and a couple of bar/restaurants). The only negative (which is minor) is that the electricity was operated by your hotel key. Once you left the room, all electricity went off (including the mini-fridge). However, the AC stayed on (they ask you to turn it down to conserve energy, which is what we did when we left the room). The front desk staff was not overly friendly, but they helped answer any questions we had. Watson, the bartender, has great tips, so be sure to talk with him if you get a chance! Overall, we had a pleasant experience at the Comfort Suites....More

We stayed in a great room, albeit facing the back, not the ocean, that had a full kitchen and large balcony for eating outside....More
