Great location, pleasant staff, nice clean rooms. But not 5 star as was advertised. Free internet access is only available in some rooms and it's completely random who gets it. When we found we didn't have a landline in our room for free internet, we asked to be moved to a room that did have it. They said they could not move us because all the rooms were full, which seemed like a lie because the hotel was a ghost town that weekend. Also, the fitness room was a joke. One multi-purpose cable machine (which was broken) and 2 small dumbbells. A true 5-star hotel would have a decent fitness center....More

Best Western Premier Hotel Slon
The Slon is a fairly easy walk from the train station. Once there, it is an even shorter walk to the main destinations in central Ljubljana. The hotel is excellent and the employees were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and was a tremendous value for the huge range of options. The 2 for 1 happy hour coupon was a nice surprise, though I should have known better than to order a margarita in Slovenia. I should have stuck with the wine....More

Sport Hotel
Great hotel, great staff. Large rooms. Only complaint was the our AC didn't work which meant we had to open our windows which set next to the main AC unit for the building which cycled on and off all night and kept us up....More
