Hotel Kyjev
As advertised, this is an old hotel with a great location. The location -- just a few minute walk from the historic city center -- is the real selling point for this property. The rooms smell of smoke, the carpet is old and dirty, the sheets and linens had holes in them and the beautiful view of the city from the room is obscured by a giant cell phone add that covers an entire side of the building. One morning, we woke up to a sewage smell in our room. All that said, if you're looking for nothing more than a bed close to the action at a reasonable rate, this will serve that purpose, though there are hostels available that would probably be cheaper and offer the same level of service. Mamaison Residence Sulekova
It is a bit of a walk into Old Town but well worth it. There is gated, off-street parking on the hotel premises. The hotel is very modern and well maintained. The ONLY problem we had with the hotel is that our room was directly off the main lobby so we heard the phone ringing at the reception desk, guests arrivals/departures and all of the breakfast seatings throughout the evening and into the morning. Other than the location of our room we were extremely satisfied with the quality of the hotel....More

Hotel Marrol's
This hotel is fantastic, and I recommend it to anyone planning a stay in Bratislava. I have been in Slovakia before, and been happy with accomodations, but this place truly exceeded all of my expectations. I was sad to leave! The staff is friendly, actually outgoing, and that by itself puts them head and shoulders above most others.. add the beautiful accomodations and, I think, a very reasonable price, and I am sure most people would love this place....More
