Hotel Kyjev
As advertised, this is an old hotel with a great location. The location -- just a few minute walk from the historic city center -- is the real selling point for this property. The rooms smell of smoke, the carpet is old and dirty, the sheets and linens had holes in them and the beautiful view of the city from the room is obscured by a giant cell phone add that covers an entire side of the building. One morning, we woke up to a sewage smell in our room. All that said, if you're looking for nothing more than a bed close to the action at a reasonable rate, this will serve that purpose, though there are hostels available that would probably be cheaper and offer the same level of service. The breakfast buffet indeed was outstanding and was the high-point of our stay....More

Art Hotel William
This hotel just seemed to be old. There was no real charm and was not in the location I thought it would be. It was close to downtown but not as close as I expected. I had to have the staff come back and clean our bathroom, they forgot a few things. The floors have cracked tile. The main lobby and the restaurant was smokey. The breakfast however, was really good and they allowed me to stay there for a long period of time....More

Hotel Marrol's
This hotel is fantastic, and I recommend it to anyone planning a stay in Bratislava. I have been in Slovakia before, and been happy with accomodations, but this place truly exceeded all of my expectations. I was sad to leave! The staff is friendly, actually outgoing, and that by itself puts them head and shoulders above most others.. add the beautiful accomodations and, I think, a very reasonable price, and I am sure most people would love this place....More
