    Concorde Hotel Singapore
    What we appreciated the most was the concieger's help and assistance with our questions. Additionally, the doorman found my wallet/passport and monies after I had already exited the taxi. Had he not checked, it would have been a disaster as I would have lost all important identification documents!!! Thank goodness, the doorman was diligent!...More

    Riders Lodge
    We took our parents to Singapore for a short vacation. Having no idea about hotels in Singapore, we almost blindly chose Rider's Lodge because, well, the price is attractive. It turned out to be a decent choice. The staff there are VERY friendly and helpful. The room is very clean. The only problem is the location. It's kind of off-center. Taxi costs about $20 (in Singapore currency) to the airport, and about $8-$10 to downtown where all those tourist places and shopping centers are. If you need to get to the airport in the morning, you better call for a taxi first. We waited outside for about 20minutes. But that also means you won't hear much city noise, and Singapore is kinda small so taxis won't cost too much anyway. Overall I think Rider's is a cozy and pretty place to stay....More
