Copthorne King's Hotel Singapore
The location of this hotel is in Robertson Quay, just down the river from Clarke and Boat Quay - about a 10 minute walk along the river, very pleasant. The closest MRT (train) stops are at Chinatown and Clarke Quay, both about 7-10 minute walks. Orchard Road is about a $5 cab ride, or you can easily take the MRT; same for Sentosa Island. It takes a bit of effort to get to the zoo (train + bus), or about a $25 cab ride. The hotel itself was very clean and nice. The price was relatively good for the location and quality. The internet is $26/24 hours, so if you can get a package with internet included, I would recommend that. The room we had was fairly small, but that was clean and all we needed, although the bed was rather firm. The pool is nice, but the hot tub was far from hot while we were there. Conrad Centennial Singapore
Stayed there for a week with my parents and the hotel is plush, relaxing and the service is outstanding. The breakfast was extensive and delicious and the concierge there are magic and were very helpful. The only not-so-good experience was noticing a strong bad odor in our room, however when they weren't able to fix it, they promptly changed our room - so that was fixed. This hotel is excellent for the price I paid and would totally stay there again...More
