Royal Plaza On Scotts - A Summit Hotel
Free internet Free soda from minibar Nice pool Great hotel staff Minor issues: Hair dryer in bad place No clock (there is one on the phone but it's on the desk and not visible) Two pillows with one extra in closet (should have 2 extra pillows, not just 1 but it's easy to call housekeeping) Slippery bathtub, difficult to get in and out of (but in their defense, I think we got a room made for the disabled and it may have been purposely set up that way for different exit...) Overall, we were happy with our stay at the Royal Plaza. Location is perfect with access to Orchard Road and MRT. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends/family/coworkers....More

    Changi Village-A Far East Hotel
The hotel was was well maintained and a modernized property. It did not feel its age once inside. The rooms and amenities were all first class. Much better than I expected. The down side is the location. Though by the airport, its still a 10 to 15 minute trip to the terminals. Luckily, there is an hourly shuttle or you can call a taxi that will arrive in minutes. (One of the best things about Singapore is its excellent and affordable taxi services) What I consider a bonus for the hotel are the choices in eateries. You can dine in one of the nice restaurants in the hotel or go accross the street to a hawker center for some local cuisine. My favorite is to walk accross the street to the ferry terminal, go to Palau Ubin (SD$2.50) and eat at one of the seafood restaurants in the village there. Just dine early because you need to come back with the last tourists of the day (around sunset) or it could be a long wait for enough passengers for the trip back....More

    Orchard Parade-A Far East Hotel
The location of this hotel is execellent. The rooms and amenities are good--nice swimming pool and better than average gym facilities. However, if you have friends calling you at the hotel, it might take the staff forever to answer the phoone. When I called the hotel desks and other service usuaully, it took them a long time to answer. I think it is because they just don't have enough staff at the front desk or the staff is doing too much "multi-tasking"....More
