    Iris Congress
    Enjoyed my stay at the Iris Congress. Huge and clean room with satellite television with CNN which was nice. It is a bit out of the way in Moscow and not close to a metro but the bus stop is close and there is a shuttle service. The breakfast buffet is free and quite good. I would NOT recommend this hotel to non Russian speakers though as you will have a difficult/expensive time getting into central Moscow from here. The staff all speaks English though which is nice. The hotel used to be an eye surgery hospital in Soviet times hence the name Iris Congress. It is actually quite nice inside and the staff takes pride in keeping it very comfortable and clean....More

    Azimut Hotel St Petersburg
    Upon arrival we had to wait for quite some time to get checked in. When we were finally checked in there was a problem with our room. The manager had us switched to another room. The paint was peeling and the room was not too clean. The bathroom was dirty! But what upset me the most was the fact that I was there on very important business and did not receive any of my important messages. Each time I checked in with the desk I was told that I had no messages. Several were left. Then I had to extend my stay for another day... they moved my room and now we went from the 17th floor to the 4th... with no wi-fi. The room was a little cleaner but the mosquitos were SO BAD we couldn't sleep. I am still swelled up from them. The breakfast buffet was good, but that was all. Hotels.com lived up to all it's expectations, though! Great place to get a room!...More
