The Westin Warsaw
As always, the heavenly beds were just that and the room was very clean and up-to-date. That's why I go to a Westin, but the location in City Center is not that great for touring. Better to rent an apartment in Old Town if that's what you're looking for. The staff needs a little work. The front desk and bell staff were nice, but not extremely warm. The turn down maid knocked on our door and barged in before we could respond. Good thing we were just on the computer and reading. Then the bar staff where we ate a leisurely dinner and had a couple of drinks was very unattentive. They never asked if we wanted refilled drinks and that was after we had to get their attention to get any service to begin with. You see that quite a bit in Poland, but it shouldn't be that way at a Starwood owned hotel....More

This hotel provides very good value, but the best feature is the staff. They are very helpful, and willing to "go the extra mile" in making guests comfortable and in accommodating requests....More
