    Millennium Hotel Christchurch
    central location but Christchurch was a slight disappointment. The city needs some spiffing up--homeless congregate in Cathedral Square, etc.Did not feel safe walking in the city at night. Lots of questionable characters walking the streets at night.Did find some excellent reswtaurants and enjoyed the museums....More

    Hotel Grand Chancellor Christchurch
    I was originally assignemed a room immediately next to the loud elevator shaft. Normally I wouldn't say anything, but this time I did. The front desk said it would take a few minutes to rearrange other guests so a new room could be made available. Fairly quickly they put me into an excellent room and they made the change without any attitude at all....More

    Quest On Nelson Serviced Apart
    Pictures were nicer than the room, but the room wasn't bad, just dated bit with the sitting area. However, do not reserve a room that faces the harbor. Excellent view, but Nelson is an extremely busy road 24 hours a day. Very pleasant front desk hostess, made me smile when I arrived....More
