    Hotel Los Balcones De Leon
    Everyone says Leon is hot and it is, so having a room at Hotel Balcones de Leon is a cool solution. When we needed a break from the heat, we retreated to our air conditioned room. The hotel is charming and also has alot of interior areas for the guests to sit and socialize outside of their rooms and these spaces are very pretty. In the US we would call this a "boutique" hotel. The hotel is a historically old building and located within walking distance of the central park. The hustle and bustle is right outside on the street.     BW LAS MERCEDES
    This hotel is just average. The one great advantage it has, is that it is across the street from the airport. When you have a 6:00 a.m. flight, this is quite nice. The food is average, but the hotel staff were all quite helpful & pleasant....More

    Barcelo Playa Montelimar All Inclusive
    Beautiful resort right on the beach. Friendly, attentive staff. Nice, large pool (biggest one in Central America). Highly recommend staying in a cabina (no extra charge) instead of a hotel room. The cabinas in the 100 block are the closest to the resort's amenities. Casino was a small room mainly filled with slot machines. Buffet was bland. Disappointed in the desserts. Good place for surfing....More
