    Shangri-La's Rasa Ria Resort
Just came back from 3 nights at the Rasa Ria, to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. All in all, we had a fabulous time. We loved the setting, the huge fine sand beach really is lovely, and it was also nice to have jungle enclose the back of the hotel. All very peaceful, clean, and romantic. I enjoyed having many activities to choose from, far too many for such a short stay. I greatly enjoyed my water skiing session - very powerful boat that made it easy. We complained again, and again staff were willing to help, though again it took a while before they found another room for us. We only had two full days here, and almost all the morning of the first day was spent changing rooms. The room we ended up in (block 3) had neither damp nor proximity to construction issues. It still has dated carpets, less than stellar ba...More
