Karibea Resort Sainte Luce - Hôtel Amandiers
The hotel experience is one similar of being in France. The hotel was clean and the majority of the equipment was working. Our phone never worked. Our room came with an outdoor kitchen which worked well for our group. Our friends kitchen lock was gone and so was the majority of the kitchen equipment. The staff tried to assist with problems the best they could working with my family who spoke little French. The thing to keep in mind is that this is a nice Hotel for the area. Prices are high for the Hotel and food compared to what we would expect to find in the US. We also visited during Carnaval which meant more people and traffic volume. We were surpised to find the the set times for breakfast were roughly 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM, Lunch 12:00 to 2:00 PM and dinner from 7:30 to 10:00 PM. We did find a McDonalds that was open all the time though. All in all we had a more positive experience than negative one and if you would visit Martinique this would be worth considering....More
