Ramada Katunayaka Colombo In
Our second stay at this hotel. Again, a comfortable sleep and excellent service from the staff. A few comments for would-be guests: (1) The hotel isn't actually in Katunayaka per se; it's in Seeduwa, which is a few km south toward Colombo. It's more or less the middle of nowhere, but a short bus/taxi ride to the airport. (2) Booking taxis through the hotel is very expensive compared with normal rates. (3) The so-called "broadband" internet service available in the rooms is both extremely slow and extremely overpriced. Other than these three complaints, it's a perfectly fine hotel for those with early or late flights at the international airport. Again, the staff were very warm, helpful, and friendly....More

excellent hotel. Kitchen is great for longer stays though my stay was brief and I used room service, which was quite good. to get to airport, don't take hotel taxi--much more expensive than having the hotel concierge call you a taxi....More
