We stayed at Jalousie for 4 nights and paid for 2 (they had a "4 for 2" deal). The hotel is fine, but it is not that special, and if we had had to pay full price, it would have been a complete ripoff. While in St Lucia, we also visited rooms in Jade Mountain, Anse Chastenet, and Ladera. If we had to do it again, we would do Jalousie if we could get the half-price deal. If not, we'd go to Anse Chastenet. If we had a ton of money, we'd stay at Jade Mountain. If we didn't care about beach access, we'd go to Ladera....MoreHotels.com guest on March-20

Bay Gardens Inn
Great value for the money. Our room was large and clean for the most part. We had a wonderful balcony overlooking the pool and garden. The pool was clean and less than 4 ft deep (great for kids). Staff were extremely helpful. The restaurant food was only OK. There was one day when they hired a DJ who played LOUDLY all day long. That was hard to take. There is a shopping plaza around the corner but you have to walk on the side of a very dangerous road to get there. Usually someone would hassle us for money on the way. Overall, I would rate the hotel highly, but have plenty of money for taxis as you will want to get away from the town....MoreHotels.com guest on May-16
