    Vabien Suites II Serviced Residence
Overall, we had a very pleasant experience at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The location was decent because it was located right next to a subway station, but since it was in the heart of downtown seoul, the area was dead at night. The only negative things that I can talk about (but didn't really bother me) was that the front lounge area isn't very nice (there's a Seven Eleven & 2 restaurants connected to the entrance, hence making it look a bit cheap), and there were some small permanent stains on the bedding. Not on the sheet, but on the top layer of the comforter. Besides that, the hotel was everything that we expected it to be from the description. Free internet, washer and dryer (life saver in hot, muggy, rainy seoul weather where your clothes get dirty after one day's outing), kitchen, etc. I would definitely stay at this hotel for my next trip....More

This is no way a 4-star hotel. When I first arrived they lost my reservation and I had to wait around until they could find more information about it. After checking into my room, I realized the room was definately not a 4-star hotel. The bathroom door had a frosted glass window, meaning you could pretty much see straight into the bathroom. They also charge $16+/day (more than any other hotel i've been to) for internet. We tried going down into the business center downstairs but they charge about 50cents/minute. For Korea being one of the top internet gaming cities, I wouldn't expect them to charge so much. Overall, I was dissatisfied when it came to my hotel but would expected less if it was listed as a 3.5 star hotel....More
