Aranvert Hotel Kyoto
The hotel was conveniently located with a subway station (Gojo Street) withing 3 minutes walking distance. The staff was very friendly and couteous. The rooms were great - considering that expenses in Japan are higher in general than the standard daily expenses in countries like the USA, I felt that the hotel price was quite justified. The restaurant on the second floor was fabulous - I absolutely loved the breakfast buffet!! The hotel is also within 15 minutes walking distance (less than 5 minutes by taxi) from the Kyoto main station. Overall, a great place to stay in Kyoto. Another point to note is that for foreign travellers, it is often important to withdraw money from ATM using their own countries' credit cards. This can not be done at ordinary ATMs in Japan - but there is a CITI Bank within a few minutes walking distance of this hotel where specialized ATM exists where foreigners can withdraw cash using non-Japanese credit cards. This was a great convenience!...More

Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku
The hotel was a pleasure to stay at. Like typical Tokyo hotel rooms, the rooms are extremely small. Though if your visiting Tokyo, you wont be in your room much but to sleep anyways! Very good service, awesome toilets (haha youll see what i mean if you stay there) and great customer service! Would stay there again !...More

Radisson Hotel Narita
Overall, the hotel is nice, but they should not be advertising it as an airport hotel. We missed our shuttle (last 2100) so the cab cost us 35.00 dollars to get there. The hotel is great if you want to spend there more than one night. We were under impression that everything is within walking distance, but it takes the hotel's shuttle 20 minutes to get to the temples or the shopping. I would stay at Hotel Nikko next time; it is closer to the Narita shopping district. Also, the hotel charges you 900 yens to use the internet....More
