Golden Tulip Grand Palace Hotel
A little older, but well maintained with a helpful staff. Although it wasn't the nicest hotel in that area, it was more affordable and guests have access to the health club/spa at the hotel next door.
My only complaint is that they put me in a room at the end of the hall and the building next door was being renovated so I had pounding and electric tools blaring directly outside my window from morning to night....More

FOUR SEASONS AMMAN
The Four Seasons is really a beautiful Hotel, in the lobby. However, the room, for the price, was not up to expectations.
We stayed for 7 days, and the bathroom floor was never cleaned. I would have expected the room to be much bigger for the price. Also, the carpet was well worn and should be replaced.
The spa was wonderful. The staff was the best, and the spa was very clean.
However, I would not recommend this Hotel as I did not feel the room was as clean as I would have expected from a 5 Star....More

RADISSON SAS AMMAN HOTEL
The Rad SAS is simply an old hotel that is on the outskirts of town. It wasn't horrible. The staff was the best part...very friendly and helpful. The rooms were old and the food was terrible (and barely any local food on the menu!). It's not really near any landmark, so when you get in a taxi you have to tell them you are going to a hotel, which means the price is jacked up a bit.
It was as clean as an old hotel could be. The gym was small, but quite adequate. The pool was nice. And one good point is that despite it being wedding season with a myriad of loud parties on the main level, I never heard any music or noise in my room on the 8th floor.
It wasn't a bad experience, but I think there are nicer hotel options for a similar price point in Amman....More
