Hotel Doria
The Hotel Doria is is an excellent location for visiting the sites of Rome. It is an easy walk to the Termini Station for accessing the subway. The rooms were clean and comfortable (but small). The breakfasts are acceptable (not great) and served on the rooftop with a view of the nearby Colosseum. We were able to walk to most sites (except the Vatican). The desk was staffed by helpful individuals who provided good advice for dining options. The only drawback from my perspective was the size of the bathrooms. In particular, the shower stalls were so small that it is fortunate that we are not a physically large family. I believe that anyone with a large body frame or extra weight would be challenged to fit in the shower stall....More
