    Hotel Orcagna
    Hotel staff was very friendly. the room was spacious and clean. Easy access to bus stop, although we prefered to stroll by the reaverthe. It was a bit noisy as we staid in a room by the staircase on the second floor. stairs were marble (as everything else in Florence) thus you could hear the ecco of steps up and down the stars. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room facing the back of the building. Nice stay. I would recommend....More

    Forum Hotel
    Booked hotel last minute and was looking for something close to the Collesium. It doesn't get much closer than this. Excellent location, clean and safe hotel. Easy to walk to most of the major Rome sites from hotel within 20 minutes. Staff was nice, and rooftop breakfast was good as well. Even got a free drink at check in. Would recommend. 5 min walk to metro stop that is easy to use if you are coming by train....More

    Artemide Hotel
    Rooms were very spacious and nice and the amenities were terrific -- free mini-bar is a nice touch. Its just beer, soda, water and snacks, but very nice. The have free wireless if you bring your laptop and didn't charge when the office sent me a long fax. The concierge wasn't as knowledgeable as I would have liked, but we found our way around. The location is good but not great. I found we used taxis a bit more than I had originally expected....More
