Grand Court Jerusalem
Compared to other hotels in the same price range the amenities you receive at the Grand Court are seriously sub-standard. There are no toiletries provided other than a combined body wash/shampoo that is in a wall dispenser. Each room is stocked with only two towels and it takes several hours to get additional when requested. Dishes at breakfast were dirty and service was extremely limited. One morning all of the cut fruit had been eaten and cleared but was not replenished until I asked specifically requested. There is no concierge. The hotel desk is understaffed and when you ask basic questions about local attractions or car-rental agencies they are unable to assist. Furthermore, when we checked out, they tried to bill us a second time for a room we had already prepaid for. We travelled to this hotel with our toddler. We ate dinner twice in the hotel lounge and it took 45 minutes from the time we sat down to get our food. That does not work for most young children. Furthermore, the crib was tiny and my child's toes stuck out the end. One bonus was that they were able to provide a baby sitter....More
