Center Hotel
Our hotel room looked out onto Dizengoff Circle and the fountain designed by Yaacov Agam. Within a few yards of our hotel lobby we were able to walk to cafes, restaurants, shops, grocery stores, juice bars, and falafel stands.
Breakfast is included in the nightly rate and is served at the sister-hotel (Cinema Hotel) just across the street, which was convenient, quite tasty, and filling.
The room decor is modern, funky, and bright. The hotel (including the lobbies) has a young-edgy feel to it. Simple, but interesting.
There is wi-fi (free) if you have your own computer; there's a pay-per-use computer in one of the lounges.
The one aspect that really turned us off, though, was the smoke odor. Although the hotel claims to be smoke-free, several of the other guests were smoking in the hallways and on the patios, which drifted into our room. Yuck.
So, overall, we'd recommend it, but with a slight word of caution....More

Art Plus
This hotel has a unique "art" theme and carries it off nicely. First of all a great location a block from a good part of the beach. Second great lobby, staff and breakfast room. Finally the rooms are very modern, clean, working air con albeit a bit small.
The Hotel.com price was good. I extended my stay and would stay here again....More

Palatin Hotel Jerusalem
I have stayed at the Palatin many times over the years, initially for location..The hosts are very nice( I feel like I'm coming home when I get there)...it is a simple place, the breakfast fare is simple, but adequate, clean & they try to please..free wireless internet...I have left items there in past & always knew they would be safe & returnedto me (usually on next visit)..if you want to be in the center of Jerusalem with access to whatever you may want or need there, the location can't be beat, especially for the price....More
