Hilton Guam Resort And Spa
I have always heard wonderful things about the Hilton, and have experienced the wonderful things at the Hilton Hawaiian Village on Oahu. However, I found the Guam Hilton to be a complete opposite of everything I have grown to expect from a Hilton. The food service was slow, and in fact the food did not taste good and was not worth the price that we paid. The beds were to me like sleeping on the ground, the mattress was that hard. I asked and was told that was everything they had and only offered me another comforter which only helped a little. It also said there would be a hair dryer in our room and there was not one. I had to borrow one from my friends room. I am a diabetic and need to keep my insulin refridgerated and there was a note on the refridgerator door that said it was not going to keep things very cold. To be honest, had I not pre-paid for this room with a non-refunable price, My party and I would have stayed on the Navy base at the barracks that were only $20.00 a night. I found better accomodations there then I did at the Guam Hilton. Overall I was very dissappointed and will probably not stay at a Hilton again, after having experieced what I did....More

Grand Plaza Hotel
Was not greeted at the airport. Had been told that there was a courtesy phone. There was not. The airport information desk was closed and so no phone there. A very sweet worker at the Hertz counter assisted me with a phone book and calling for me. I waited for the courtesy shuttle. Then greeted at the hotel counter after 10pm by a lady who did not smile. I guessed that I was bothering her. Then greeted by a muggy hot wave inside my room, I rushed to turn on the air conditioner. Then I saw the massive stains on the rug (room 501). The beds were OK. Requested Queen or King, got two beds, a double and a single??? I tried not to walk on the floor barefoot. I got to the bathroom. I was please to find complimentary toothbrushes and toothpaste. In the bathroom, I was not pleased to find a hole in the wall to my left, 18inch leak stains on the ceiling, and a silverfish in the bathtub. Also evidence of bathroom mold and the darkest shower curtain that cut off most of the bathroom light when you pull it across. The only bright spot was the front desk lady was gracious and nice as I left about 4:30am. Thankful to be back at the airport...More

Hyatt Regency Guam
The free wi-fi in the lobby was fantastic, which meant I wasn't going to pay a good chunk to use it in my room. The oddest thing was that sometimes I'd get bottled water in my room when it was attended to daily, and other times I didn't, and I never saw a rationale for why. The pools and beach access were great, and the duty free shopping was convenient and very tempting....More
