    The area is prety good with lots of restauarants, the hotel is small but clean and comfortable. However the staff is horrible. They didnt inform us that there was a breakfast included and then lied to our face and thier boss that they did in fact inform us. They were rude when asked questions and did nothing to help when asked....More

    Grand Tikal Futura Hotel
    We love to stay at this hotel because of its location. It is connected to the big shopping mall. There is plenty to do to keep you busy there. Also, they have a great section for kids. The hotel is well maintained and nice rooms. The hotel has a mini fridge and a safe in the room. If you do the american plan there is a special hospitality suite that has its own computer to check your email. Also, they offer free soft drinks and bottles of water all day. There is breakfast in the morning, snacks in the afternoon and heavy appetizers around 6pm to 8pm. The Hotel has a lovely indoor pool. There is also a business center that has 3 computers to check email. It remains open 24hours. There are 2 restaurants that are good, not great. The mall next door has a great food court,...More

    I was pretty impressed with the concierge when I arrived early in the morning. I was allowed to check in as soon as I arrived (about 7:30 am). The concierge staff were very helpful, cordial, & informative and spoke pretty good English (even though none of the other employees do). The room was comfortable and a decent size for 2 people. The only complaint about the room is that it only has A/C and no heat and I went in the winter time (New Year's). The hot showers were great & comforting after a long day. The TV channels that you get are both English & in Spanish....More
