    Classical Athens Imperial
we stayed in the imperial for 3 nights. The hotel was very nice with an amazing roof top bar and pool area (which closed surprisingly early). The hotel was out of the way, but was near the metro, so it was convieient to go to plaka or the acropolis. I would definitely stay again if I went back to Athens....More

    Electra Hotel
Located in downtown Athens, it's a less than 5 minute walk from the bus/subway station (we took the bus from the airport - about 45 minute bus ride). Acropolis is easy to get to via the metro subway. Hotel is very nice & pleasant - a bit pricier, but worth it. Room is a decent size for 2 people. Quiet at night. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Just remember that drinks provided in the mini-frige in the rooms are expensive, including bottled water. Overall, highly recommend (if you're not on a tight budget)& plan on staying at this hotel again in the future....More
