This outstanding hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the sea. The grounds are lovely but full of stairs not recommanded for the handicapped It has an old sugar mill tower that is the hotel boutique. Our deluxe room suite had gorgeous views of the sea and other parts of the island . The balcony was large and had a longue chair. Breakfast which was included with the room was delicious and fresh. They made omelets and crepes for you. The restaurant was pricey but well worth it Every dish we tried was delicious and gorgeous to look at. The service was impecable: friendly and efficient....More

Saint John Perse
Went to this hotel on a Peace Corps budget with a couple of fellow Volunteers. The room was small for 3 people. No water the first night we were there. Beds not so comfortable, but with it being the "only place" in Pointe-a-Pitre it was a "must stay". It did offer a continental breakfast each morning and most of the staff was bi-lingual in English, which greatly assisted in communication....More

La Toubana
The hotel is currently undergowing a rapid improvement. We found a complete new bathroom, including new proper working shower. Blow dryer had not been installed (yet). Television cables were being installed to provide each unit with it's own televison within days. Telephone was installed during our stay. Landscaping was being renewed throughout our stay. All pavements got new tiling. The tennis court was undergowing a major upgrade. All of this happened without any major disturbing for the guests. Guess within some more weeks the majority of the complex is in a perfect state....More
