The hotel has the great 19th century look and all the modern amenities. Location across the street from the train station, five-minute walk from the Esplanade, and about 15 minutes from Kauppatori is great. Hotel staff was very helpful in reserving a restaurant, making copies, calling taxies, etc. Nice restaurant on the premises. Heated floors in the bathroom very very much appreciated....More

The Hotel Seurahuone has beautiful facilities. Our room had beautiful, dark wood furniture, comfortable bedding, and free wireless internet access (albeit at a low rate because I was so far from the lobby). The only downside is that the wired internet connection wasn't reliable....More

Scandic Marski Helsinki
The room was huge with a divided bathroom and big flat screen TV. The included breakfast had great variety including smoked herring. The hotel had an outstanding location with tram and bus stops in front, shopping all around, and the train station two blocks away. The best part was when I had asked about a very early morning trip to the airport everyone had told me I'd have to take a 40 euro taxi. The attractive and extremely intelligent front desk girl called an airport taxi, which worked out great, and cost 25 euros. This was a great hotel and not a bad price for Scandinavia....More
