Laietana Palace
this hotel was great for the money. the AC worked really well, we had a large room, great shower, centrally located, staff was really really nice and very helpful. it was a clean hotel with crisp white linens and a 10-15 walk to everywhere. the lobby had free internet access and there was a Starbucks 3 blocks away. the famous Farmer's Market was 3 blocks away and we ate at the market every day for breakfast and lunch.
low marks on: the hotel was on a very busy main street and it was kind of noisy. however, we were 3 blocks away from the Ramblas so we didn't have that kind of "tourist" noise- it was "street/car" noise.

On the other hand the stucture and the rooms were very nice and confortable....More
