Five Stars is not the same in Egypt as it is in other countries, for example, Japan. Expect to see upkeep and maintanance deteriorate over time as things fall apart but do not get repaired unless absolutely necessary. In fact, my room had a squashed mosquito stuck on the wall next to the light switch. Overall, the hotel was acceptable, just not 5-stars. But then again, I am one of those critical people that view United Airlines first class seats as being too dirty for me. For me, it's not about size or features... it's about cleanliness....More

Talisman Hotel de Charme
Don't let the building lobby fool you. Once you're up the elevator you're in a different world with a perfect location for your Cairo adventures. The rooms are comfortable, the service top-notch and super-friendly, and the decor sets a great mood. Good for couples or adventure travelers, they have a few places to just hang out and relax in with a terminal for free internet access (although it's a slow connection by US standards). We wished we could have stayed longer and hope to return. A wonderful boutique hotel....More

Way overpriced based on the condition of the rooms. I would not recomend this hotel to anybody....More
