    Concorde Hotel Dokki
    Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. All I needed was a clean room and bed and found this hotel met my needs. I would not rate it 3* though. More like a 2*....More

    Sofitel Cecil Alexandria
    We stayed at the Cecil for about a week while attending a conference at the library. The Cecil is an older, grand hotel with a helpful staff and a good Asian restraurant on the roof. I recommend a room with a view of the sea. Urban Egypt is noisy, and crossing streets makes one feel like a figure in the old videogame 'frogger'. Room rates were reasonable, and the experience charming....More

    Iberotel Luxor
    The Iberotel exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The staff was friendly, they had good food on site, the location to Luxor Temple was great as well. (Just mind the numerous amount of caleche/taxi drivers that shout at you when you leave the hotel lobby.) I had a room with a Nile view and it was lovely. You could see Hapshetsut's Temple off in the distance and feluccas sailing down the Nile. It was lovely, and if I ever went back to Luxor, I would definately stay there....More
