I enjoyed my stay here. Disregard all negativity. The price was excellent. The only thing is the language barrier, only a few spoke english, it was difficult at times. The food was good, the beach was nice and the people were friendly. My room was very nice....More

    Hodelpa Caribe Colonial
The hotel overall is pretty new and a 'trendy /boutique' hotel. The lobby is nice and they greet you with champagne. the convenience of the location and its proximity to everything is great. the only thing that brings this hotel down are the rooms. The a/c doesnt get activated until you are actually in the room, therefore as you are gone all day you will come into a warm room and will have to wait about 10 minutes before it starts to cool off. Also for this being a "new" hotel the room furniture seems to be a hand-me-down because its extremely old and the beds are uncomfortable. The bathroom was roomy but average. Overall however, I think when I go back if I'm not staying at the intercontinental then I would stay here. Overall its great for the price. No regrets....More

On my last stay, water had flooded the hallway and a portion of my room, it took the reception desk four plus hours to give me another room....More
