Costa Caribe Coral Resort All Inclusive
I just came back from Costa Caribe Coral all inclusive and decided to sit down and write this review while memories are fresh in my mind. I booked my room for the weekend October 3 thru Oct 6, I needed to be close to Santo Domingo because this was a pleasure and business trip. Before I booked my trip I was not aware that this hotel sells one day and weekend passes for the locals, it was very obvious to me as I arrived to the lobby and saw all these people from the ghetto of the town in the hotel screaming to one another and their kids running around without any restraint. The swimming pool was the worst during my weekend there. It pretty much reminded my of a public swimming pool in the Bronx during the summertime. Impossible to eat at the Ambar Resturant, although the food is tolerable the flies will not let you eat! they sit on your food, on your face, on your head...eww, I wonder when was the last time an exterminator visited the premises?? Water was another issue. God forbid you need to use the bathroom after midnight, you'll need to wait until next morning to flush the toilet because at night the water supply is shut down, I could not take my dissapointment anymore and called the concierge desk. They said that something related to the pipes was being repaired and that was the reason for the water situation I do not know if that is true, they sent me two bottles of water. The hotel building is six stories high and has one tiny elevator only, you could cram five people in there and no more. Use your imagination to visualize the elevator situacion. Please, Please, do not go here during the weekend!!!...More
