Hotel 71 Nyhavn
This was a real disappointment to me, and I'm pretty easy-going. I stayed here for the first 3-nights of my vacation. The location is wonderful, as is the building itself. But this is supposed to be a first class hotel (it has first class prices). The front desk staff are friendly but no service is offered for your luggage. The room was not as clean as it should be, particularly the bathroom. The glass table top still had greasy rings. When I checked in, one of the two lights over the bathroom mirror was out. I told the front desk immediately but nothing was ever done about it. The poor lighting beside the bed made it impossible to read in bed at night. Regretfully, I would not return here. Ascot Hotel & Spa
This is a comment about the way hotels.com worked with the Ascot Hotel in Copenhagen. If you look at my file you will see how many times I called about this problem. The problem was that we had to cancel one of our nights and your hotels.com were very helpful and said there was no problem cancelling. But the fact is that the hotel said they never got the message and claimed that they were never notified. I called back and someone said they would fax the info again but when we checked in they still had us down for 2 nites. I think if you list a hotel on your website you ought to make sure you can communicate with them. I am still worried whether we will get the refund that we were promised....More
