We were impressed by the friendly hotel staff, large modern bedroom, and exercise room with a new stationery bike, treadmill, stair-stepper and a large TV screen. We were pleasantly surprised and really pleased with the location of the hotel. It was only a four short blocks from Wescenlas Square, which was an easy walking distance; there were two mini-food stores for inexpensive snacks that could be put in our bedroom-frig; it was one block from the main police station (even though Prague is a very safe area to wonder at all hours of the night, which we did (between 1am-6am). We plan to stay at this hotel every time we go to Prague, which is 1-3 times per year....More

Hotel Cerna Liska
You probably cannot find a better location for the price. Our room was huge (actually three rooms) and the hotel is located along the perimeter of the Old Town Square. When we returned, however, we found that the hotel had added an undisclosed charge for a change in the exchange rate. Since we prepaid with a credit card, this seemed unfair. Would they have provided a credit if the exchange rate had changed in their favor? Nonetheless, we disputed the charge and the hotel agreed to drop some of the aded amounts and the credit card company paid the remainder. Would stay again....More
