Beach Club Colony Resort All Inclusive
After five nights at Beach Club, I am completly rejuvinated. This is the perfect vacation for a couple or traveling friends who want to experience Grand Caymen at a fraction of the cost. Being the the only all-inclusive on the island, the value for this vacation was unmatched. Grand Cayman is VERY expensive. Beach Club was one of the first hotels on seven mile beach - and you can see that. It is not flashy with all the extra ammenties, but it has the best amenity - 50 feet from room to beach, fabulous snorkeling on you own reef 200yds. out, great connections for diving, wave runners & kayaks, free non-motorozed water sports, and the friendliest staff I have encountered anywhere! Now - this is not a top of the line - american standard hotel. Compared to all the flashy new condos surrounding it, some may think Beach Club looks a little tired, but I considered it charming, and loved my experience, especially eating all of my fabulously prepared meals in the outdoor restaurant looking out at the ocean - aahh. The bathrooms need a remodel, and the air conditioning is a bit noisy, but the staff does an incredible job keeping things neat, and tidy for their guests. I would go back to Beach Club in a heart beat. It was great. What kind of traveler am I? One who does a lot of homework & looks for a great bargain. sightseeing vacations usually consist of looking for a good value, as long as the room is clean - it is good enough for me. Beach vacations are all about the view, snorkeling, and the beach. Oh, one more thing, I didn't mention the cruisers using Beach Club's ammenities, because it was such a non-issue....More

Seven Mile Beach Resort
The Condo was large and nicely decorated, although the beds were hard. We were on the third floor and there are no elevators for bringing up your luggage. There were definately ants, which is a deterrent for cooking in the kitchen, although they did provide us with ant spray. Remember no coffee unless you buy it. The grocery store was far but we were able to walk there, the walk home is hard with all the bags though. The pool was great, there were no roads to cross to get to the beach although the way is rocky and the beach is rocky, recommend beach shoes for small children that will play in the water. Great area for snorkling. No beach chairs provided by the resort, but no one checked if you used the other motels beach chairs. They are building condos next door so we heard construction workers from 7am on. Food and Restaurants are expensive at the Caymans regardless, so stay here if you truly plan to cook your dinners, othewise just stay at a hotel. Everyone at the facility was nice, we did a discovery dive (ages 10 and up) with the 7 mile dive guys and they were a joy....More
