    Hotel Grano de Oro
    The rooms were very nicely appointed. Would have liked a more comfortable chair in the room to sit and read. The restaurant was exceptional. Food and service exceeded our expectations (never had a warm shawl brought to me when dining in the couryard in the evening before!). The hotel was within walking distance (1 mile) of sites. You can easily walk - just don't do it after dark! Free wi-fi in lobby was nice (would be nicer to have it in the rooms). We would definately stay there again and recommend it to friends....More

    Best Western Irazu
    1/01/2006 Great place to stay to get out of San Jose and away from the airport. It is a little noisy with all the traffic that comes through the area. Clean, friendlyhelp, especially the bar and bartenders.Beautiful pool and grounds.A trip to the nearby volcano was a bonus1 Just beautiful up there and a nice drive!...More
