    Broadway Mansions Hotel (Bund)
    I found this hotel intriguing. It's a 1930's hotel with a somewhat spooky exterior. But the inside is warm and inviting. The staff is very professional. The room had excellent furnishings. The carpet could be replaced. The location is within walking distance of the Bund, Nanking Road, and the subway. There is small neighborhood of stores and restaurants just north of the hotel. There is great view of the city from the rooms on the south side of the hotel....More

    Shangri-La Hotel, Qingdao
    Shangri-La's Qingdao hotel will be opening another 196 rooms and large banquet area in March. We have thoroughly enjoyed the hotel for the past four years. Some of the older rooms and hallways are due for new carpet but they are clean, staff is very helpful, price is right and the atmosphere of the lobby area is superb with relaxing piano music in the evenings. The buffet provides a mix of excellent foods that meets just about everyone's expectations. We highly recommend this hotel....More

    Prime Hotel Beijing
    We stayed in this hotel before joining our tour group in Beijing and now that I have traveled all over China and have stayed in the top hotels in every city, including another hotel in Beijing, I can say that the PRIME HOTEL is THE PRIME HOTEL to stay in.....the bathroom is amazing, there is free internet in the room, the location in the city could not be better (walking distance to the city center and to the forbidden city) and the hotel staff was very gracious. This is a true 5 star!...More
