Royal Scot Suite Hotel
We recently booked 2 studio suites for a family visit to Victoria. Both rooms were sparkling clean and very nicely furnished. One room was upgraded for free because the room type we'd originally booked was unavailable-ah, shucks :) Both rooms had complete kitchens so we saved a bit of time and money making our own breakfasts and bringing our own beverages and snacks. The hotel staff was very friendly and efficient. The pool, spa, and game rooms were a great addition to an already perfect visit! I can't think of one negative thing to say. We all kept saying this will be the only hotel we want to stay in while visiting Victoria from now on! The Royal Scot is about one block from the Coho Ferry terminal, and easy walking distance to most of downtown. You defintely don't need to bring your car considering the Royal Scot's free shuttle service and many other forms of transportation you can hire in downtown Victoria....More

The Suites At 1 King West
The hotel room was big and clean, put more importantly the staff was the most curtious and friendly staff I have experienced at a hotel. There was not a single bad experience with the staff. The only time there was a problem was when they screwed up our room service and it was only a matter of minutes before they returned with the correct meal. If you stay take advantage of their complimentary limousine service, it is free and they will take you almost anywhere downtown in some classic vehicles....More
