    Augusto's Copacabana Hotel
    My visited started out with construction in the next room and getting moved into a smoking room (I don't smoke). No clock, no iron (not allowed, either). Air conditioning is extremely noisy. Web-page advertizes internet access, but omits the by-the-minute charges for a bad connection. Also fails to warn about the by-the-day charge for use of the safe. My visit ended with the staff drilling into the safe, since the mechanism jammed and it wouldn't open....More

    L'Hotel Porto Bay Sao Paulo
    Very good hotel. Excellent service, nice quiet rooms, and good, convenient and safe location (i.e. safe for Sao Paulo). Definitely not cheap, but not unreasonable for the level of service and for a 4 star-hotel. Would definitely recommend....More

    Hotel das Cataratas
    Good Impressions: (1)Great view of the waterfalls; and (2) Great room (linen and bed sheets) service. Bad Impressions: (1)There was a cockroach on the wall; (2) Food was so-so;(3) Tour service was inadequate, that is, limited to one tour company; (4) Recommended dinner-show place was bad; (5) Expensive buffet had no soup....More
