    Sheraton Rio Hotel & Resort
    Hotel was beautiful,with great facilities, but it is located too far from the city. It is a far walk, along a highway, to reach either Leblon or Ipanema. This means that you will either have to take a bus or taxi ($8-10) whenever you want to leave the hotel. Sheraton takes advantage of this by gouging you on everything it offers. Breakfast is over $30 USD per person, lunch will cost you over $40 USD and dinner will run about $50. If you don't want to spend over $100 USD per day per person just to eat, you will be constantly taking taxis. This applies to drinks at the bar ($12 for a rum and coke!), the health club ($13 per day) etc....More
