Hotel, as well as the room, was nicely decorated and clean. Restaurant had great menu and quality, and we were surprised to find a complimentary free daily breakfast buffet. The view of the ocean from our room was amazing. The beach however was a bit lacking - very rocky as previous storms have eroded much of the sand. There were terraced artificial "beaches" which were perfect for getting sun, and we were easily able to walk to the fine sandy Elbow Beach immediately adjacent to the property. This was perfect for our romantic getaway, but the resort did not have much in the way of services - limited beach and poolside beverage service, and no recreational offerings to speak of (no watersports equipment rentals or fitness center). We would not go back with our 3 small kids, but would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND to couples for romantic getaways....More

Surf Side Beach Club
Service at Palms restaurant was outstanding. The accomodations and hotel service were very good. My one concern was the pool. It was not cleaned regularly and had quite a bit of debris daily. Although the beaches are more the attraction, it was nice to take a dip in the pool late afternoon and get a break from the sand and saltwater or after a long day of sightseeing....More

Grotto Bay Beach Hotel
Beautiful location with good entainment for the kids. Service is spotty. Rooms are small and expensive, but everything is in Bermuda. Locals are always great. Good location to the airport, not to Hamilton....More
