    Aunt Nea's Inn At Hillcrest
When booking the room, no one bothered to explain the self-checking process; since the reception desk closes at 2p.m. We certainly expected better service and accomodations for the cost....More

    ROYAL PALMS HOTEL
You really get what you pay for with this cheap hotel. The rate was fair considering the poor decor and bathroom fixtures coming off the wall. The sheets were itchy. The A\C was older than I am, but by the next morning the room was quite cold (took 15 hours)....More

    The Fairmont Southampton Hotel
Having booked this hotel for a romantic weekend for my boyfriend and myself, I was looking forward to our visit as the pictures looked beautiful. We have been tobermuda several tiems and tried several hotels on the island. The hotel is very pretty and the rooms are beautiful, but I did not go to Bermuda to spend the entire weekend in my room. I wanted a nice, romantic vacation and what I got was a madhouse convention center. From the get-go there were issues - I was certainly not told when I booked the room that my room would have a "partial view". Technically, yes, it was an ocean view if I leaned over the balcony and looked hard left. Otherwise, I overlooked a pool roof and was woken up every morning by loud guests in the pool screeching. Our first day there it was raining so we went to one of the restaurants for lunch. The food took a long time and on top of the slow service, we got yelled at when we asked to go sit outside and when my boyfriend asked from a Rum Swizzle (a bermudian drink) the waiter told him he did not want that but a mai tai (the two are nothing alike). My boyfriend insisted and literally had to argue with the waiter to get the drink he wanted. Due to the rain we decided to go to the indoor pool and the fitness center only to find out we had to pay a fee to be spa members in order to use it (we could use it after 6:30 for free) but without a room to check into until 4pm and with the rain coming down, we literally had to sit there. Finally when going up to our room there were only a few elevators for a massive hotel and 4 or 5 would pass before we could get on. We ended up having to take the back stairs during our visit which were dirty and rundown. I have a half dozen other complaints between the trolleys and the beach as well. They just overcharge for everything and you will be gouged. It is a bit too far from the airport and it is not a relaxing vacation. It as far too overpriced for what you get and I would recommend either th...More
