Best Western Belize Biltmore Plaza
We elected to book a room at the Belize Biltmore Plaza because of its proximity to the airport. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel's location wasn't its only plus. The room was clean, the pool was delightful, and the restaurant offered good food. The service was friendly -- the business office accommodating. The price, though rather high, was not out of line with prices in Belize generally. We'd recommend a stay here....More

Belizean Shores
We were thrilled by this hotel. If you want to go to one of the nicest resorts on the island for a great price, I highly recommend the Belizean Shores. The pool is excellent with a swim up bar! The restaurant was good and the staff was extremely friendly (and did not have their hands held out for tips.) The dive shop was very helpful for setting up trips right at the hotel. San Pedro is a long bike ride or short water taxi ride, so it is an isolated hotel that is very quiet. The beach is small, but very clean. There is a nice beach volleyball court, a nice tennis court and basketball hoops with free balls and rackets to play. Overall an excellent experience (nice to have t.v. stations from the U.S. also.)...More

Belizean Shores
We just got back from Belizean Shores and are sad because we are back home. We would go back in a heartbeat. When we were there we were even upgraded to an upstairs unit without asking. The pool was fantastic. All of our needs were met. We snorkeled out on the reef and my husband dove quite a few times. The water was perfect and the coral and sea life were amazing.The resort was clean and friendly. Thank-you Belizean Shores for a week that went by way too fast!...More
