Pelican Bay Resort at Lucaya
This hotel was amazing!! They had free breakfast and that was a plus!! The room was always clean and we had a great view from our balcony. The only thing i did not like about this hotel was the people at the front desk. It took them almost two hrs for them to give us our room. It made me very upset, but i guess they finally realized how upset i was that they gave us a better room. Overall it was beautiful and i recommend it....More

Atlantis Paradise Island Coral Towers
We stayed at the coral tower; we paid for a "full water view". When we checked into the rooms all what we could see is rooftops & palm trees, no view of the ocean or any water whatsoever. When back to the front desk, they insistently repeated that they categorize these rooms as water view. We invited the clerk to come w/ us to the rooms & show us any view of the water. They said they know all the rooms BUT this is categorized by the hotel as "water view". They were most unapologetic. The room was reasonably 3 star class at best, & maid service was very spotty, amenities were always missing over our 10 days stay. The grounds are beautiful. The staff is plentiful but they are often preoccupied w/ each other rather than being readily available to guests, & they very seldom smile. The quality of food in the restaurants from the fanciest to the fast food is good but way overpriced, they even tagged a 15% charge at fast food places like Starbuks & Jamba juice in the village on top of high prices. We are not sorry we went to see it once but we do not plan on going back. We want to emphasize that the facilities are beautiful; this includes the royal tower, the casino, the marina village, shopping area & the grounds, but not the coral tower & beach tower. We have found several things not functioning like the espresso machine at the lounge & the drinks blender at the beach bar. The employees acted as if this was normal business. Leaks in the bathrooms. Wallpaper pealing..... it is obvious that the place is built & intended to be a 1st class resort, & the numerous staff seems to want to make that true but training of the staff & operational procedures are obviously lacking....More
