reasonable price. good location if you need to meet someone almost out of the city center. It's not suitable if you prefer to walk around the hotel - you have nothing to go. The traffic in Sofia is terrible, so it's better to use the taxi - 5-10 lev (about $4-$12) to city center or airport. the breakfast is good, but always cold. The room is small, but clean. Btw, its many hotels nearby what not listed in internet - ask local agent, but be prepare that price would be in euros....More

We had occasion to stay in Sofia for two separate nights in March of 08 en route to other locations in Bulgaria. The hotel is lovely and quite reasonably priced. The staff and management are friendly and helpful; there is a restaurant in the basement that is quite charming with reasonably good food and very friendly service; the rooms are clean and spacious with very nice bath facilities. One morning, we walked through the neighborhood to get some exercise and found we were within a close distance to a large city park. This is a definite 'find'....More

Overall pretty good. Location: surounding area is petty good plently of places to grab a meal. A pretty good walk to get to the Center of the city. Staff: Great Room: small but in comparison to other area hotels about the same. Okay for 3 people. Cafe: Teachers Ivans House Good traditional Bulgarian Food...More
