Hotel de Tuilerieen - A Small Luxury Hotel of the World
This is truly an outstanding hotel. Located right on one of the canals and just a few minutes walk from the town's main square, this is an ideal hotel from which to enjoy the many interests of Bruges. The breakfasts are very good and the service is excellent with a very friendly and attentive staff. The front desk people are all fluent in a number of languages, including English and will help you with reservations for dinners on the town and suggestions about things to see and do. We had an excellent dinner at a restaurant which is right next door. If visiting Bruges this hotel deserves your full consideration....More

Sofitel Brussels Europe
The Sofital-Brussels Hotel was difficult to locate in our rental vehicle, due to street names appearing on the sides of buildings. Once located, the main obstacle was locating appropriate parking, because the hotel did not offer a private driveway for guests checking in. Once inside the hotel, we were treated courtesly and efficiently through checkin and escorting to our very comfortable room. We did end up paying the hotel to use their underground garage.
Our room was decorated very modernly with plenty of closet space, a fair sized safe, terry cloth robes and slippers, plus closet lighting. The toilet area was ultra modern, including plumbing fixtures and a hair dryer. The shower was enclosed by a large glass door. The room came with modern art on the wall, a large LCD television with programming in several languages, and a spacious bed with a plump and very comfortable down mattress topper. Room lighting was fair, but better lighting was needed for those using the table for business or computer work. The hotel offered free internet use on their own coomputer in the library room, or via an ethernet connector (for a fee) in the room.
We really enjoyed this comfortable hotel, despite poor weather. The hotel is located just 3-4 blocks from the easy to use Metro subway system. Concierge staff a very helpful in locating attractions and restaurants....More
