Zermatt Resort And Spa

Location. The Zermatt Resort And Spa is located in Midway, Utah, a Swiss-inspired town positioned in the scenic Heber Valley. The resort is 18 miles from the three Park City ski resorts, which offer alpine skiing and snowboarding. Dog-sledding and bobsledding are available at the Utah Olympic Park, located six miles away. The Timpanogos Caves are located 20 miles from the property, and provide spelunking opportunities following a hike that ascends over 1,000 feet in elevation from beginning to end.

Features. The Zermatt Resort & Spa includes a four-story Swiss chalet containing guestrooms and a separate chateau with condominium-style units. An open-kitchen bakery, gourmet restaurant, and a bistro with a brick oven and bar are featured at the property. The resort includes 28,000 square feet of meeting space, a separate 13,000-square-foot exhibition center and a business center with shipping and receiving, fax services, work stations and color printing. Recreational amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, spa tubs, a sauna, a steam room, a health spa and fitness equipment. An 18-hole putting course, shuffleboard court, sand volleyball courts and tennis courts are available. Kid-friendly amenities include a carousel and children's pool.

Guestrooms. All accommodations feature complimentary wireless Internet access and flat-screen televisions with premium cable channels. Video games are available in all units for a fee. Standard rooms feature duvets and embroidered bedding. Villas include separate living rooms with fireplaces and sofa beds, full kitchens, decks or patios, and two-person jetted tubs in the bathrooms. Beds are made up with quilted comforters. Bathrobes are included.

Expert Tip. Soldier Hollow, located six miles from the resort, was the location of the biathlon, cross-country skiing and Nordic combined events during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games.
